Recalling the glorious past of Muslims through the windows of history, let us mention today an entity who was the author of numerous books, most of whose works include jurisprudence, theology, logic, ethics and mysticism.  His most valuable and useful book is Ahya Uloom-ud-Din which is very popular

Apart from the Islamic world, Europe also benefited from this book.  And the original is still available in the Berlin Library.  While "Kimiye Saadat" is a high-profile book in Persian, "Wasat Basit" is a well-known book in jurisprudence.  The goals of philosophy in philosophy

And the philosophers, the standard of knowledge in logic, the standard of vision and the scale of action are noteworthy, whose autobiography "Al-Munqaz" is a biography.

He was a great thinker and theologian and his name was Muhammad, his surname was Abu Hamid and his title was Zainuddin and we know him as Abu Hamid Ghazali and Imam Ghazali Rah.

Imam al-Ghazali was born in 1054 in the small town of Tus in the Iranian province of Khorasan, which is now converted to the famous Iranian city of Mashhad.

Your father used to trade in yarn, which is why he got the name Ghazali. Ghazali is an Arabic word which means one who makes yarn.

He received his early education from a local teacher, Ahmad bin Muhammad Azkani.  After completing his primary education, he left for Jirjan. Shortly after returning from Jirjan, on his way back home, an incident took place on the way which changed the life of Imam Ghazali.

The caravan in which Imam Sahib was in was attacked by dacoits and all his equipment was snatched and even his necessary documents were snatched away.  I have capital.  In order to acquire this knowledge, I

He searched the dust of the forest and took such a long journey.  The chief of the robbers laughed and spoke in a sarcastic tone. Then what did you learn? When there was no paper left, you were left blank. He returned the papers to them.  This had such a profound effect on Imam al-Ghazali that on reaching Tus, the papers

It was written that he lost everything.

Imam Sahib stayed in the homeland for three years and was busy repeating the knowledge he had learned.

At that time, the Iranian city of Neshapur was the center of science and art.  Whenever Imam Sahib felt thirsty for knowledge, he went to Neshapur and joined the teaching circle of the greatest scholar of that time, Imam-ul-Harmain Abu Al-Maali Joyi, who was the president of Madrasa Nizamiya Neshapur.  Here Imam Sahib had the opportunity to acquire and complete the conventional sciences. He mastered Shafi'i jurisprudence, theology, cases and philosophy.

By the time Imam al-Harmain died in 1085, Imam al-Ghazali was with him and had become an expert in various sciences and arts, especially in literature, jurisprudence, principles, hadith and theology, etc., and his fame had spread throughout the Islamic world.  ۔  He had also started writing and composing.  Imam al-Ghazali was 28 years old when he became an expert in various sciences and arts.

Then he went to Mecca from Neshapur.  The Prime Minister Nizam-ul-Mulk Tusi had heard the city of Imam Sahib's knowledge and grace. He received him with great respect and reverence.

He made great sacrifices and took them to the Seljuk Sultan Malik Shah. During the reign of Nizam-ul-Mulk, Iran made great progress in knowledge and grace.  Books were written on various sciences. If one had to test one's knowledge and grace, he would have had a debate.  Once Imam Sahib had a discussion with the famous poet Omar Khayyam on the issues of philosophy in which Omar Khayyam became unresponsive and left the party with an excuse of some need and Imam Sahib also won this debate.

At that time, Madrasa Nizamiya Baghdad was the largest university of Islamic sciences and arts. Nizam-ul-Mulk elected Imam Sahib as its president.  This position was given to the person who was the greatest scholar of that time.  Imam Sahib was only 34 years old when he assumed this post.  Who gets this award at this age?

Would not have  When he assumed the presidency, in a short period of time, by his grace and perfection, he made the lords of the empire so enamored that the important affairs of the empire could not be carried out without his advice.

The number of students in Imam Sahib's teaching circle was up to three hundred and the most respected people of the city participated in it

 Used to

Undoubtedly, Imam al-Ghazali emerged as one of the greatest thinkers, philosophers, jurists and educators of his time.  He had such a great personality that the world still believes in his knowledge.  His thoughts and ideas are still warming the hearts of the people.

You introduced new ideas in education.

According to Imam Sahib, the purpose of education

It was not just about providing information.  He emphasized that through education a student can become spiritually enlightened and gain the pleasure of God. He distinguished between religious and non-religious subjects, dividing all sciences into two parts.

divided.  The first part is known as Fard-e-Ain which is obligatory for every Muslim and the second part is known as Fard-e-Kifaya.

At the same time, the whole world of Islam was in dire straits due to the brutal and brutal massacre of an "esoteric" sect from the Ismaili sect.

The leader of this esoteric sect was Hassan bin Sabah, who was born in Qom, Iran.

People like Seljuk Sultan Malik Shah, Nizam-ul-Mulk, Shahab-ud-Din Ghauri were brutally martyred at the hands of the "martyrs" of this sect, even valuable personalities like Sultan Sinjar, Salahuddin Ayubi, Fakhruddin Razi

Stay in the grip of these mysteries.  These esotericists were the suicide bombers of that era.

You can easily call these esoteric sacrifices ISIS or TTP of that era.

On this massacre of esoteric martyrs, Imam al-Ghazali wrote several books against their esoteric religion and freed the people from their clutches by explaining them about the evidence. Sultan Ahmad Sanjar respected him very much and consulted him on many matters.  Kelly used to come to them.

Turkey also made a drama serial about him called Great Seljuk.  Imam Ghazali passed away on December 19, 1111.  The incident of Imam Ghazali's death is described in such a way that he was in perfect condition on the day of his death.  He got up early in the morning, performed ablutions and offered prayers. He asked for his shroud, kissed it and put it over his eyes.  The death of Imam Sahib was a great tragedy for the Islamic world. There was mourning in all Islamic countries and poets wrote numerous obituaries in Arabic and Persian. You are buried in Tus (Mashhad).
